Natures All, Inc. now has a pre-made Chuppah or Arbor available. You can purchase your wedding Chuppah or Arbor as shown, or have one customized just for you.

We have had some interest in a particular type of container that would allow brides(or should I say grooms) to construct a Chuppah or an Arbor without having to use messy cement and still be able to re-use the poles for other types of decorating after the blessed day!

After a few trials and errors, we constructed a very user friendly container. These containers are made out of pine lumber, having a raised panel exterior. The handy interior tube also made from pine lumber, allows for the birch pole to easily slide into place. Then using the cardboard wedges to snug-up the pole and keep it in place makes setting up and taking down a snap! Thus.... no more cement.

There is felt on the bottom corners to aid in protecting hardwood floors when used indoors and soft ground anchors to aid on breezy days outdoors. These soft ground anchors are similar to the type of stakes used in keeping a tent up; for example lawn or turf type ground. As a precaution, a small brick or two wouldn't be a bad idea just in case there were to be stronger winds.

If they were to be used on a beach(sand), additional weights such as small bricks would work great as the soft ground anchors would not be as usefull in sand.

Natures All, Inc. is dedicated to providing the highest quality Christmas or Hanukkah wreaths that you may find on the market. We believe that the three most important aspect to having a fresh wreath is based on the following key factors.

The first is healthy balsam boughs:
Preparations begin in early September with pre-season scouting of the balsam bough branches that will be harvested. The freshest wreaths come first from the healthiest balsam boughs.

The second key factor and the most important is harvest time:We believe this is the most important aspect to having a fresh wreath that will last the entire season. Harvesting of our balsam boughs begins after numerous frost. It takes many hard frosts to set the needles. The cold temperatures penetrates deep into the branches that lock the needles into the stem. The more frost the boughs get, the fresher the wreath you will have. This is why we do not start our harvesting until November when we get frost on a nightly basis. After we are confident that the needles are firmly set, we start harvesting.

The third key factor and equally important is production:Our wreaths are made fresh to order! Unlike some Christmas tree/wreath stands, our wreaths are not stock piled. When you place an order from Natures All, Inc. your wreath is made fresh and then shipped out within 1 to 3 business days. Wreaths are made and shipped in the order they are received in order to be the freshest they can be.

Although we do our very best to have healthy boughs and fresh wreaths, it should be mentioned that wreaths shipped to various warmer climates should not be purchased to early in the season.
OTHER HELPFUL TIPS

When hanging wreaths outdoors, try to place in an area where direct sunlight is less apparent.

When displaying wreaths indoors, try to place away from heat source such as registers and vents.

Decorative Chuppah/Arbor Poles

All of us at Natures All, Inc. is pleased to pass this on from one of our happy customers. Jan C. Kew from Creative Botanicals placed an order for our Aspen Poles and wanted to pass on the finished product. In this first photo, she shows how she was able to construct the Chuppah as a free-standing unit. In this photo, Jan has put her talent to use in the decorating department! This is absolutely stunning. She was able to use flowers and foliage to mask the bracing that they constructed on the top of her Chuppah.

Selecting the right Birch Poles for your Chuppah or Arbor

Starting with the right materials to construct a Chuppah or Arbor is half the battle. That is why we have designated a specific White Birch Pole with this idea in mind.
First, we offer them in bundles of 4, not 5 like our other grades of White Birch Poles. After all, a Chuppah or Arbor has 4 corners, therefore you only need 4. Next, we wanted to make sure that our poles would be strong enough to stand up no matter what the wind conditions may be. Now, I'm not saying that they will hold up through a tornado, but they are large enough to withstand more than a gentle breeze. That is why our large end diameters are kept between 2-2.75 inches. Staying within this range also gives you a relatively uniform pole from the base to the top. This eliminates a "spindly" look with very little taper. This diameter also gives your guest an opportunity to see your beautiful Chuppah or Arbor from any distance at your ceremony.
The next aspect was straightness. White Birch has a great deal of character by way of color and form. However, because of their use in making a Chuppah or Arbor we wanted to keep the poles as straight as possible. Although the poles are not "perfectly straight", they are as straight as Mother nature has allowed.
So now you have 4 poles in the perfect diameter and as straight as possible. The last aspect was to now match them by color range. This is probably the most important. The exfoliating bark can be significantly different from pole to pole. But in this set, colors, exfoliation, diameters and straightness will all be matched. The set of Chuppah/Arbor poles you purchase from Natures All, Inc. will look like "they belong together".
